Cargo restrictions, help needed

Okay so my dipwad of a friend (Ingame name "Selby") has a blacklisted gun in his inventory, we haven't been onto hive servers since 1.7.6.1 and went back on to check out 1.7.7 and to cut a long story short, he can't play. Due to what we believe to be some variation of an AK 107 (It's been a while since we were on) being in his inventory, he gets kicked for Cargo restriction # 6. I was just wondering if there was anyway to reset his character data to allow him to start a new character on DayZ or anyway to remove it from his inventory.
