What I like the most about 1.7.7 update?

KryhYpN.jpgGl9eyHC.jpgThis a public server, freshly restarted. The countless shooting of unarmed people spawning into that hell hole, general madness and yelling, everything bad in dayz into one tiny spot... it's cool

i played instantly on patch launch constant hacks onthe server and the server was litterally being reboote every ten minutes to combat the scripters.

also even though i actually helped test that 1.7.7 a little that patch is a step backwards and the previous patch is more fun to play.

zombie knock downs , no just remove or make so random that they appear to not happen.

not enough loot not enough anything not enough fun !

keep te mod fun and dont listen to a zombie ner who plays 19 hrs a day unlike 95 percent of the players who actually play this.

they havent got time to spend 4 hrs looking for a tin of beans , 3 hrs walking round the edge of churno just to find there is no loot. it isnt fun. realize this quickly !

As being an actual admin of the server it happened, this is all I can give you. Aside from:

1) Players not spawning with backpacks nor flashlights, usually spawning in debug.

2) zombies are ridiculous, their animation attack is laggy and they hit you from 1-7m. Almost all hits get you prone and then it takes a shitload of time for the character to first stand up and THEN only dance around taking the weapon from shoulder to aim with it.

3) Loot is shit. Going to hospitals only to find 2-3 tin cans (AT BEST), antibiotics got more rare than they were BEFORE a year ago, generally nothing good spawns. You'll go into elektro only to find an ammo-less winchester, a patrol backpack (Which you should've spawned with), notning.

4) The loading screen is pixelated as shit. That's what you call 'new'?

5) Debug monitor doesn't show humanity.

1) That's normal, Starting Gear was changed: * [NEW] - New starting gear added. Guaranteed Start Items: ("ItemBandage","HandRoadFlare") + 1 RandomStartItem: ("ItemBandage","ItemPainkiller").

3) Loot was made scarcer. I like it a lot, it makes Survival actually a bit challenging.

5) Debug Monitor is now journal. I think it's good that it doesn't show the exact amount of humanity, so your skin is really dependent on your playstyle not "Oh, I need to give 5 more bloodbags before I get a Hero Skin"

Those screen shots look far more fun than my current experiences of retrying authentication, retrying authentication, retrying authentication , retrying authentication, retrying authentication, retrying authentication, retrying authentication, retrying authentication ,retrying authentication ,retrying authentication, disconnect...

I'd agree with you on this one, makes sense. Still though, I treat my -humanity as some sort of goal in DayZ, not being able to see it is lacking for me.

Scarcer? More like DayZ 2017 all over again. Hospitals should be full of medical supplies at all times because of the amount of traffic the area gets. Building's are tagged for 15 minutes, so if nothing spawns there, for the 15 minutes everybody in Elektro is screwed.

Normal for you, maybe. Why player's wouldn't spawn with a backpack? What's the issue with spawning with one? Why not give them a flashlight, instead of 10 flares? Survival is already nearly impossible (I'm playing this mod for 10-11 months).

For now the info we seem to be getting is a mix up during install of the server.pbo and mission file from server hosts.

HFB corrected there install system this morning i'm not sure how many other hosts have this issue also.

Keep a close on on the situation, the debug zone turned into a warzone on 845.

Yeah, I like being able to see humanity point too. As far as hospitals being in high traffic areas, why?

Hospital med loot. So I guess "high traffic area" has just been redefined.

After 2 hours shuttling between the Cherno and Electro hospital/stores in a fast car and barely surviving, me and my partner decided we won't be part of that traffic any more.

Maybe check the apartments/houses/fire station. Tonight we plan to strike out to the farms and smaller towns and cities. We'll see how that goes. There have been suggestions from the devs that loot spawns are spread around.

Seems like players will need to make considerable adjustments to their play style. I can roll with that. Something new. Don't know about spawn loadout yet, as I'm geared.

That's server controlled and can be set up as desired. Doesn't much matter anyway now. A Makarov with 5 clips is more likely to get you killed than not.

Rather have an axe, knife and matches. That's the big issue for new spawns now.

Agreed. Flashlight, lighter and knife kept at all times in my house and vehicles. On my person there is always a pocket knife and a lighter yes I'm a smoker. So if a disaster of any kind were to happen I would always have these items on me or in easy reach. Much less likely to have bandages and painkillers or road flares. I can't even remember the last time I saw road flares in use. Everything is LED now. Next time I'm at the auto store will check to see if there even still selling them.

I like the idea of making loot more scarce but for me its almost non existent. I find one useful item per 30 tin cans sometimes more. 1 out of 3 buildings i search yields maybe one useful item. Honestly this is worse than DayZ 2017 because at least in there you can still find food and meds without farming for 2 hours. Granted i may be stretching it a bit but i think that the loot is far too scarce.
