Different issues with wireless and cable plug in connection

Ok I'm having a problem with dayz

I have to use wireless to play at all, but get immense lag and de synch

However when I plug in my cable I can connect to a lobby but the game will not connect to battleye

I get kicked for battleye not responding but wireless I get a ping of around 90 compared to 10-20 with a cable plugged in straight from my modem

And yes I've tried waiting in the lobby to wait for battleye iniation which fails

I also get the difference between 200kb/s downloading a game from steam or an update to 900+kb/s with the cable

It seemed like a firewall problem but I now have a new computer and have tried disabling my firewall to play and this doesn't help

So what and why is it blocking battleye ?

I get similar problems with other online games except they do play sometimes, other times they just won't connect to a game at all and get stuck loading

My Internet provider assures me there is nothing that would block anything like this so It could be a default setting or something to do with the modem

One last interesting fact, say I try and connect to a server with the cable plugged in and it doesn't the allow battleye to inialise, if I alt tab out and pull out the cable and activate the wireless it imedietely connects to battleye but my ping goes way up

In reverse, I connect with wireless enabled, battleye inialises while in th lobby or game and if I plug in the cable I'm kicked within a few seconds for battleye not responding

Does anyone know of anything I can try?

May i ask what router/modem you are using? Some brands conflict for some reason due to firmware but there is a work around if needed.
