sweedee 0 Posted June 20, 2012 Would be nice if when you're bleeding, the blood would leave a track (if you're moving while bleeding) which lasts on the ground for I dunno 10/15 min?Don't know if it would be possible.***Would be awesome to see some fresh blood on the ground and follow it. To either to search for friends or for bandits to chase people. And then often "have it" randomly stop because someone used the bandage. But you would still know someone was there during the last 10 min or so =)

kloust! 0 Posted June 20, 2012 The only problem I see with this is the immense stress on the servers. Trust me, something like this would NOT be easy for the server to handleGood to see people thinking though!

scoffield77@gmail.com 192 Posted June 20, 2012 it sounds like something that would be client side not server side. but idk, i'm not all sure how that works

If you wound someone or if you're trying to find an injured buddy you can follow the trail of blood. Definitely a good idea if the engine makes it possible. Only problem I think would be all the people bleeding on the server might slow it down. However, like 80% will bandage themselves pretty quickly... it will be the few that can't bandage (no bandages) that this will work for.I honestly think people should bleed slower then they do now.. or at least have varying degrees of injury that would work well with this idea.Could even make zombies be able to pick up blood trails and slowly investigate them.
