You would need to right-click your Dayz Commander shortcut and select Properties. Under the Compatibility-tab you can check Run as Administrator.

Also, try going into Settings in DayZ Commander and check the file paths to your Arma 2 and OA directories.

It's telling me my battle eye installation failed after I try joining a server. I'm not sure what to check for the file paths on Dayz commander. I know where to find them but I don't know what to do

Do the filepaths point to C:\Program Files (x86)\etc?

I think you may be having problems with Microsoft's glorious UAC. I never install anything to the default directories because of it.

Try a manual install of battleye http://www.battleye.com/download.html

Burt it looks like they are going right were they should be going. I'll try that with battle eye. I just verified the caches for every game related. We shall see what happens after I make sure that everything is up to date in dayz Commander

If the manual install of BattlEye doesn't resolve the problem, you can also try the setup program for BattlEye. It's located in the following folders:

\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2\BEsetup

\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\BEsetup

Chances are that running it from your user-account will allow the installation to go through.

You might want to make sure that you're actually running the OA beta. When you have the 'Bad version server rejected' message on the main menu screen check in the top right if it says Arma 2 beta. If it doesn't, you're running the regular version.

Nice! Glad you got it fixed.

I mostly play on Balota Buddies nowadays, fellow mustachio Steak is a moderator there and the community is great. I only go on the public servers when I feel like goofing around but we can definitely hook up sometimes. If you prefer public servers, I'll install Skype as I do not have it at the moment but should you decide to join BB we can get down in Teamspeak.
