darklynx 16 Posted June 19, 2012 Right now i've been alive for 28 days, I want to get to a month.It's not like i've been hiding away and only logging in to eat and drink as i've been on every night for a few hours. There have been a number of times that i've come so close to dieing, broken legs, hourglass countdown. Almost dragged out of gunfire but i've lived through it. Last week I set a goal to make it to 30 days, and after that im not so sure. Maybe i'll set up another tent somewhere and blow my brains out.Im not sure how i've lived this long although I try to think smart when going charlie mike and im not a bandit so havnt killed many people and only in self defense.So how long have you been alive? -Cdn-Chard 96 Posted June 20, 2012 22 days and still going strong.. Have played as a determined survivor with only one unfortunate murder in my black book (but it was in self defence).. I mostly play solo and sneak around at night a lot, logging a few hours each night with much longer time on weekends. I've criss-crossed the map at least five times and survived multiple runs to the northern arifields. I own most of my longevity to the fact that I've stayed clear of downtown Electro and Cherno for obvious reasons.. I'd also like to see a full month... Old boys club!!! By the time the last server we were on also crashed/timed out/ whatever .. we forgot where we even where :s Best i have had so far is about 30 hours with one guy , that was 1.6 something. Roaming the map looking for gear'n'snacks. But I would actively avoid other players. Got ambushed once at night, but managed to zig zag my way across an open field and into the woods. Only lost 8000 blood in the process! Several hour glass moments too. Dumb shit like stepping of the side of the steps in Devils Castle, falling out of Deer Stands, etc.The best gear I found was several Mountain Dews, large Coyote pack and a GPS. Weapons - nothing better than DMR, M14 aimpoint, AK 74 Kobra, MP5, PDW and vanilla M4 and M16. Found lots and lots of AKMs.Found lots of (probably about 6) chopper crash site, but only one with any gear.My last few days, I hooked up with some like minded guys and it has been a blast.Only 2 days with the new guy. darklynx 16 Posted June 21, 2012 I think im at 30 now, so i've made my goal.Went into get car parts last night which was tough and go in the dark rain but we managed to get out alive.As for gear i've been doing well, had an M107 and M4 SD before the M107 vanished. amentes 0 Posted June 21, 2012 Last time I died, the char had probably logged about 30-35 hours in-game. Not sure how many days, I don't pay attention to that.I basically killed myself by accidentally toggling Run, resulting in me throwing myself off of the Berezino Hospital roof.At time of death I was carrying an M4A3 CCO, Backpack (Coyote), NVG, Rangefinder, GPS, M9SD, Ghillie and an M24.I felt kinda stupid.
