Hive Database Server down ?

I am getting these errors, if I start my server...

My host servers ip is: 188.40.142.86

Yes, hive.dayzmod.com (184.95.33.66) is not reachable anymore.

You need to manually reroute the hive traffic via your hosts file.

You can do this like this:

1. Open the hosts file under <Your drive>:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts with any text editor

2. Append "173.208.122.66 hive.dayzmod.com" like shown below.

I didn't test this myself but I asume that the server is internally using hive.dayzmod.com to reach the Hive.

Don't forget to restart after saving the hosts file, just incase.

But if I ping hive.dayzmod.com it pings back from 173.208.122.66

You can try to add the following line too: cdn.dayz.nu 46.253.206.193.

Since I do not host an official server anymore I can't test it I am afraid.

edit: Also, if you still have problems you can write a PM to Ander here on the forum.

edit 2: You can also try to redownload the server files and see if that fixes the wrong IP.

I get the same errors after all you said.
