My take on FPS boost

This is the what I have found to be the most effective way to play with higher FPS on the poorly-optimised ArmA 2 engine.

Incredibly simple if you have an Nvidia card, preferably mid-spec.

Which ones? I've tried a few but never seemed to get a significant increase of >5 FPS

I thought launch parameters were no longer useful ? one of the earlier beta-patches done away with it all, things like -max_memory and cpu_cores etc

Remember to keep your PC up-to-date and cleaned, too.

Defrag your drive, check for memory/registry errors, and run some malware/virus scans every now and then. Also remember to remove any dust gathering inside the fan area, etc.

Sometimes problems in your PC can cause huge drops in overall performance. :)

lol this isnt a way to increase FPS it's just how to engage your graphics card. if you haven't engaged your graphics card you really dont have a clue lol

Ah, I have a Compaq 615 Energystar Notebook. It has 2 ATI Radion duel core prossesers. It runs at around 10-15 FPS.
