High Ping in Helicopters

Hello,

I have a problem, that I most of the time get kicked out of helicopters because of a high ping. It gets really anoying to destroy the helicopters always through that kick. I really dont know if its Arma, DayZ, my computer, ... I have this problem on diffrent DayZ mods, too.

I play always hours on server with no problems. I get kicked not only one time. Then i take a Helicopter, fly a few minutes and i get kicked because of high ping (usually a ping about 500-700ms I get displayed in the kick message). My ping in the lobby is most of the time in between 20 and 40 ms.

I'm scared of flying helicopters only because of this kicks. Can someone please help me or are there a few other people with the same problem?

If you need specific information, tell me, I will try to get them.

EDIT: I talk with my friends on Teamspeak and they dont even notice any lag. They understand me clearly even at the moment of the kick

Perhaps someone in your house just waits until you hop into a helicopter then just loads up like 10 YouTube videos just to smite your good fortune.

God hates people that fly in helicopters, but here is a question few questions.

Where do you live? city, town, suburbs, or country side.

Do people download while your playing games?

Do you know your download speed?

mine for example is 2mb which is incredibly low which gives me a ping of over 150 on American servers and about 70 on British servers.

Do you play on local servers? if not which country do you live in and where do you play?

what is the ping limit that the admin on that server set it to? Normally on public hives it can be 150 - 300 depending on if people like the server or not.

If you answer those questions you could try playing a local server for better ping so you could lessen your chances or being kick while flying a heli.

I live in an village in Germany with a downloadspeed of 32mbit/s with an upload of only 1mbit/s. I think im playing on local servers because of my low ping i always got in the lobby and in game (20-40ms). Yesterday i flew a very long time and i checked my ping mid air. It was always as low as in the lobby and without flying helicopters. It is possible that my brother caused that high ping as he was playing too. However it confused me that i get kicked only in helicopters and never on the ground.

Do you know how i can avoid the problem with the high ping, if my brother is the cause of this kicks. Can i change any options in my router or somewhere else, that this kicks don't happen again.

try looking at your family members or make sure no one is stealing your internet like some neighbors do. That the best advice I can give then.

Edit: make sure the password to your router is not admin, qwerty, or 12345 like some people its just plain and quite stupid

Try using a personal password like your most favorite TV series of all time that is what I use. ^^

You probably get high ping when you're in helicopters because your so high in the air, maybe try flying lower! Haha, get it? No? Ok....
