My Impressions as a New Player

I have to admit that this is the first game I felt sheer fear.

>> I spawned at night and I couldn't see anything beside some silhouettes, I spawned in what appeared a lighthouse and the moment I was going to use my flashlight 2 players appeared near me with flashlights turned on and I ran to the lighthouse and hid and prayed for them to go away...

My heart was pumping, trust no one the online guide said. I went through my gear and found a measly can o'beans and a bandage. I then spotted a silhouette of a building far away and started making my way to reach it. And I was livid, every step I took every noise was enough to startle me since I couldn't see anything. Once in a while I would light my path with the lantern briefly but I was too scared of attracting zombies.

I reached the building and went prone since I heard zombie noises and I thought he was behind me so I moved away only to find out he was actually in front of me... I froze. I really froze and he just walked inches from me and then crawled through some hole in the wall.

I was so afraid now, I went inside the building and I could only hear flies, I found a hatchet :D lucky me so I equipped it and had to reload it ?? and suddenly a zombie appears out of the blue and I hacked him in panic hacked again and again and some more to make sure he was dead (well dead-er) and I logged off, I couldn't play any longer. I'm going to wait till tomorrow when it's daytime. I can't handle it.

This is one of the best survival games I had the pleasure of playing.

Man i know what you mean by your heart pumping. I just some how got rid of a 20 zombie horde that was trying to eat me for lunch. I was shaking when I got away and bandaged myself leavin me just shy under 6k blood.
