Too much [The Forums]

This isn't a game mechanic suggestion.

I don't know who mods the forums but it is full of trolling, etc. There really needs to be more warnings and bans until it's under control.

It's getting to the point that I don't want to come to the forums anymore. I can't speak for others.

I agree, the mods should be allowed to pro-actively tackle flame-baiting and abusive posts.

This is something I personally want more control over but Rocket is pretty big on not becoming too restrictive.

That being said: report, report, report. We do read them and we do act. Posts that are simply there to troll usually get caught and deleted whole-sale. If someone's being abusive they get warnings or a ban.

We can't be everywhere, especially with the high volume of posters and new members that come in every day. Make it easier for us by reporting things that need attention.

The little rocketship icon with the words "Report" next to them puts the post that you flagged into a queue that is visible to all mods and staff. It gives us who you're reporting, reported by who, thread, post id, and comments from you. It shows up similar to like an unread PM would.
