How do i resolve "No Sound"?

Last night I had sound. Now I do not, even with a re-boot. What checks are there, or what have others experienced to resolve there being no in-game sound when your sound is enabled?

I've only experienced this when joining a server that wasnt on the same DayZ version as me.

Are you on the same version?

This just started happening to me today... and yes, I'm on the same version as the server...

Im on the same server version also....using 6 Launcher.

If you've turned the music volume all the way down...the next time you start Arma2 you won't hear any sound. If that's your problem. Just turn the music up and then back down again and you should be able to hear (subtract the music assuming that's what you want).

Nope...my in-game sound works with a regular Arma game, but not with the dayz mod any longer.

Discovered the problem in my case... while the server was called "Blah Blah Blah DayZ 1.7.1.1", it was actually running 1.7.1.4... when I upgraded out of frustration and tried it, everything was fine...
