Ammo Boxes - Magazines

How awkward would it be if we had to refill the magazines our self with bullets in a box? Another level of realism, keep a box of ammo in your pack, when you use a clip you pocket it then refill it later, or if you were raiding a military base would you find the bullets already in the magazines and clips?

This might be more realistic than we want in actuality but I would love to try it.
