Why did i trust the guy with the bandit skin

So i was in Chernos firehouse retrieving the loot from my dead body. I was shot by a firehouse camper with an LMG and i shot him a couple tims before i died. When i returned i found my body with all it's guns all of the ammo gone, except my revolvers ammo. I went down the steps after getting my gear back and found a G17 with no ammo. I took the G17 and left the revolver with all its ammo, then they showed up. A guy with a bandit skin and his friend they yelled please don't shoot me not knowing i didn't have ammo, right before finding my old revolver and shooting me in the back 10+ times. I didn't want to be a dick and shoot unarmed people mannnnnnnn now im dead D:

Always take the weapon with ammunition.

So many times has this saved me as opposed to grabbing the gun I liked better.

You could carry the G17 in your backpack until you find ammo for it.
