Axe For Firewood?

My axe was removed from my inventory. Are there still axes in the game? Or is the hatchet duel purpose?

I hope not, it takes up too much room.

I could not agree more Jorden... 10 slots for a hatchet, comeon you can hang that thing on your side or on your backpack.. but 10 slots?... takes up all your inventory so you have to spawn out stuff every time you want to chop some wood.

To the point, .50 sniper takes 10 slots. Small hatchet to cut down trees and melee with takes 10 slots..
