DayZ lag spikes at a constant rate

hey everyone, well i ran into the problem again and last time, it went away by itself, as i didn't do anything. this time though, im not so lucky. For some reason when i try to play, i get into a server and every second or so my FPS jumps from about 35 to 4. so it repeats a cycle of 35-4-35-4-35-4 and so on until i get kicked for my ping being to high. i've already tried uninstalling BE and the current Version of ARMA2OA and then reinstalling which usually fixes it, but no success. Any ideas anyone?

okay, so i took a screenshot of what it looks like as soon as i start lagging. when it's restarting and installing the BE client it has no lag, but as soon as it's done and shows "client up to date" and my GUID. i lag the the point where my game kicks me off the server.

Were you/was someone using your internet to download or upload at the time/recently? Torrenting and whatnot can kill your bandwidth.

no, just me using the internet at the time. i left my router off before i left to work. i just turned it back on to see if it did anything
