I believe the artifacts tend to happen at very specific intersections of the map. I have the same issue, and enabling/disabling vsync fixes them for a while. Running a 590GTX with everything maxed out at 2500 x 1600.

It is easy fixed. Change your screen rez settings down a level, apply and go back to the game. Go back to option and set them back. Also just click restart later. Takes a couple seconds and will fix the problem any time it happens. Just a render bug.
