Are 50 slot servers more stable then they were in 1.6?

I'm asking cause we are considering upgrading our server but we will only do that if they are more stable.

One of the best servers (performance wise) that I have played on was a 76 slot one.

If you are renting a server then the server provider will increase the resources available to the server to ensure it runs smoothly.

thanks, I knew they would upgrade the server's ressources but we used to play a 50 man server in 1.6x and it wasnt that good.
