Infinite Loading

Hi.

I'm an old DayZ player, so I know that the game has some wonky load times and what not, but I haven't played in over a year.

A couple of days ago, I got the urge to play again, so I installed the game and, finally sorting out DayZ Commander, got to the steps to log on. I'm trying to join my friends on a private hive, so I needed to get whitelisted before I actually was able to play.

Last night, I finally got everything sorted out, and was finally able to log into the server. It went through the normal loading screen, popped back out to the mission screen saying I was missing cooked bacon (it used to do this all the time to me back in the day...except, not with bacon), and then it hopped back onto the loading screen.

I heard the sound of the waves and the groan of a zombie as it seemed like it was going to start playing...but it never did. It stayed on the loading screen forever...so I restarted Arma2, and same thing happened.

Tried again today, thinking I was a tad hasty and wasn't fully whitelisted. Same thing. So I tried a pub server, and the same thing happened. And I'm getting infuriated and would really like to play the damn game, but if this keeps up, I'll give up forever.

Has anyone else had this problem?

If you weren't whitelisted you would just get a kick with error message (your name) has been kicked not whitelisted.

When using dayz commander go to the install/update tab at the top right corner of the main page and ensure all your beta patch and dayz version are up to date. If your getting kicked for bacon I'm thinking you might be running an outdated version of dayz.

My DayZ is up to date, so is the Beta patch for Arma2 OA. Arma 2 is at 103419, DayZ is at 1.7.6.1. DayZ Commander is 0.9.1.79.
