Hey Guys,

me and some friends are wanted to start Day Z but we dont know if there is still players?

Is this game dead? Cause of the 3 Months Past update. Or its still very Overplayed?

I just watched 6 Episodes of Lets Play from June 2012 and it looks awesome.

Its still worth it to start now?

Its still very popular with a good amount of players. However there's a lot of servers, more than there needs to be. Private hives are the way to go at present purely because they are better protected against hackers. You need to join a stable and well established hive though as many servers are only around for a few weeks before the owners kill them because they arent immediately populated, or they get bored!

The private hives I can recommend that seem stable are Day Z Redux (a modified version of Day Z), Balota buddies (white list protected and regional servers) and of course our own at BSB Network (http://www.bsbnetwork.com)
