pc spec, tell me what you think

hey, i have been a really big fan to dayZ but the current laptop i have for dayz can run it alright but has a heating problem due to it being a laptop (alienware m14x) and collecting dust that i can't clean myself, anyway i have found a desktop i can get a great deal on and i was just wondering if its good enough to run dayz and arma 3 and if i can record while playing these games to as i want to start a youtube channel with some friends.

Cpu: Intel Quad Core i7 3770 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) with 8MB Smart Cache IvyBridge

Good hardware.... but to say if this is a good deal.. we need to know the price!

I see no PSU and no case in your list.

The CPU is not the K version, so overclocking will not be that easy.

SATAIII on the HDD is good but i would take a 60 or 120gb SSD for the OS + small tools and a 1TB SATAIII for games and big apps.

16GB RAM are useless for games. I would take 8GB DDR3 1866/2000 Mhz instead of 16GB 1600Mhz.

But DayZ will be 100% playable on the system you described.

i agree, sandy briged is more easier to overclock and has lesss of a total graphic desire than the ivy bridge wants because u have a beefy g-card so its a good choice dont get me wrong but for raw gaming sandy is better, IMO, and yes the SSD is always a better choice than a stantard or even a high performanced HDD, i tend to think dayz is cpu,v-card,read&write speeds. everything is needed but it seems it hungers for those three parts.
