Is It Worth Buying DayZ Mod

Hi, Im Interested in buying DayZ, But After Being Postponed, Im Guessing That Standalone is coming soon this year... Is it worth buying DayZ now for the few months of playability?

You're paying for Arma, but yes... there are the many other mods of Arma that are available as well as the variants of DayZ that are well worth playing. There will be no modding of DayZ SA for some time, I imagine.

I bought Arma 2 because I wanted Arma 2. Arma 2 is worth the price. No doubt about that. DayZ mod is free, so yes.

Arma 2 content is being ported to Arma 3 all the time, you need Arma 2 to play them :)

Cheapest option is to get the supporters edition of Arma 3, It includes Arma X the aniversary edition with all past Arma content and DLC plus future Arma 3 DLC

Seriously, you're going to ask the fans if the game is worth it or not?

This game is good but not that good, it is pretty boring most of the time but very rewarding and exciting about 1% of the time.

It is a game that requires patience.

Yes it absolutely is worth buying arrowhead and getting the dayz mod.

with Epoch and Origins and other mod-on-mods, its probably better now than Standalone will be on its initial release.

And in the process you'll get arma as well, the best military simulator you'll ever get your hands on. Its a no brainer really.

Steep learning curve. Well worth it.

You're not buying DayZ, you're buying ArmA.

If you're buying ArmA for DayZ, no. Don't waste your money on something that you will never play as soon as the SA comes out.

If you're going to buy ArmA, then play ArmA.
