Statik (DayZ) 2695 Posted May 5, 2013 Hey guys, so I have FRAPS, but my video quality doesn't seem to be super 'crisp' (720p, but my monitor is 1080p). Does anyone know of a way to capture in 1080p? And how to render and/or upload in 1080p using Windows Live Movie Maker (I can't afford any better program right now.).Thanks,
Steak and Potatoes 13480 Posted May 5, 2013 Windows movie maker IMHO makes the footage look like poo, You can adjust your settings in fraps to higher quality

Statik (DayZ) 2695 Posted May 5, 2013 Thanks for the link Darryl. And Steak, oooh I know. I'm probably just gonna have to save and get Sony Vegas or something. And as far as I'm concerned, I -think- my FRAPS settings are as high as they can go.

I think saving it as an MPEG-1 and then uploading directly to youtube is better than using a 3rd party program
Statik (DayZ) 2695 Posted May 5, 2013 Oh? Cause I've used the trial and shit and I quite enjoyed it. But how do you save it as a MPEG-1?
dotPeanuts 0 Posted May 5, 2013 This might help you a lot. I use this to cut my 20GB videos down to 4GB. It's time consuming, So it's better if you have at least an i5 /. i7 CPUhttp://goo.gl/vbrXD
Ken Bean 175 Posted May 5, 2013 (edited) I use Handbrake for rendering. Takes a little to understand how it works, but if so, it works very good.Converts almost everything to mkv or mp4, which are the best video formats at the moment.
