Only private hives and modded appear in my browser

Recommended Posts

Hi guys;

I'm quite sure about this problem and I am still trying to find the reason for it.

Well; I haven't been playing at Dayz for a while and as I came back I find the following thing:

While using my in-game multiplayer browser, it only uploads Private hive servers, whitelisted servers and special modded DayZ in my list (origins ; others..).

This shouldn't happen since:

- I'm using a normal and last version of DayZ (frequently updated with Six launcher)

- I'm using no filters at all

- The game is genuine and no sidemods were installed neither.

I can tell I am experiencing this since I spent once again more than 40 minutes trying to connect to a global hive server. This time; I gave up.

Thanks for helping me ; even if I'm doing something wrong.

What you installed doesn't bother the browser.

Public hives have mainly died. Better find a good private, as there is a shit ton now.

Dunno.

I use DayZ commander with no issues. Give that a shot.

It means that public hives are disapearing then ?

I can still find public hives but only since Six launcher"s browser.

The big advantage of using my in-game browser was that I didn't need to load-back into the game after each disconnects (my computer is very very very slow)

Does DayZ commander allow you to join another server without having to close the game ?

I'm checking this out ---

On Dayz commander you can click hide unofficial and it will give you only Public hives. What they said is true though i don't think public hives are worth it just find yourself a home in 1 of the many private hives. Hope this helped :P .

I guess I'll have to cope with that;

I must admit I have been taking advantage of the global hive system for a long time.

I could PVP in an area smaller than a square mile while always being able to grab a beer in seconds just by switching to my empty tent server.
