Ignoring everyone who is telling you that you have literally no knowledge of the sort of catastrophic situation we're talking about, let's head right to the meat of this issue:

Humanity was forged out of groups of people fighting and KILLING other groups for whatever reason they wanted. That is pure group psychology, and it's known as in-group and out-group. Your stupid fucking opinion demonstrates clearly that you have no knowledge of actual human behaviour and whilst your optimism is commendable, the fact that you are trying to push it as fact relegates you to the box marked "Fucking stupid, dispose of in nearest eugenics bin."

As for the actual debate? This game is in Alpha. There will be more motivation for players when other features are introduced, but guess what? Some people enjoy this mod by killing other players. The fact that you're too much of a child to handle the death of your pixels maturely is not the problem. In fact, beyond the very few people on the forums complaining about it, there is no problem. This is a vocal minority, but it is just that: a minority.

This mod is going extremely well. If PvP were such a problem, we wouldn't be seeing dozens of new servers and hundreds to thousands of new players. So get the fuck over it.

Well, on the main point, the problem is that there were no zombies before so people had nothing to do but pvp, which isn't exactly a zombie mod's draw. Now there are zombies, so the world will go back to peace.

I think you guys are talking about different kinds of bandits. Pretendo I believe refers to the kind that don't play the game as zombie survival, and more of 'let's kill the guys trying to play zombie survival because it's easy and funny'. I saw a guy on a server the other day on top of the Chernagorsk town hall throwing flares out all over the place, and shooting anybody that showed up in them with his CZ. THAT is what is bad, not bandits killing other people for their gear or to secure their safety or whatever (no matter how dickish that is, I can at least see it happening). I don't get people that shoot others literally for the sake of it and wasting ammo.

Though at the same time, when I see someone running through the streets holding a flare, and then stop in the middle of a square to loot the 5 bodies there, I really feel like shooting them just to teach them a lesson in common sense.

But yeah, this has all been said to death and unless someone comes up with an ingenious solution, we can probably give it a rest as I imagine Rocket and the team are doing their best to find a solution that is reasonable to everybody.

No, it's not bad. This is a survival mod. Those people didn't survive. That's their own fucking fault and they should learn from it. Plenty of people are surviving and playing just fine with all of these complaints the vocal minority are raising. It is not difficult to avoid getting killed if you're careful. Then if you die, it's your own fault and you should have learnt something, instead of being a whiny fucking bitch.

Now this is what people should be doing. Shutting the fuck up and playing the game. Or not playing it, if you can't handle what happens. And for those of you who like to use hyperbole by saying that anyone who doesn't believe a system needs to be implemented to deal with banditry means you never want any change at all, you're a fucking over-sensationalising bitch.

This is a game about survival. Stop fucking whinging when you fail to survive. The onus is on you to avoid things that will kill you. That includes other players, regardless of whether they're a bandit who kills for food, or a bandit who kills for fun. You just don't like it because you got beaten.
