Windscreen Glass Bug/Glitch

I am curious to what causes to windscreen bug as of this patch. For those who are unfamiliar, it seems you need to fix all the windscreen on a vehicle before it allows you to fix wheels, or an engine etc. Additionally, It seems like once you get a vehicle working and you break a wheel or something, that rather than fixing the wheel, you need to fix the windscreen on the vehicle. After you fix the windscreen the wheel pops on the broken part as if you fixed the wheel.

Does anyone know what causes this bug?

Also it could be a private hive problem

Sometimes a fresh spawned vehicle will show lots of damage when you get in the drivers seat but only a few items damaged when you use the scroll wheel,

repairing all the parts that the scroll wheel shows will completely repair everything. even if its just one piece of glass.

Not sure about a fully repaired then damaged vehicle needing glass to fix a wheel though, that's just odd.

Perhaps a video would explain this problem for you guys? its really weird and if needed i can post in the bug forums.

Regarding this as being hive specific i don't think this is the case, all private hives I have played on lately I have noticed this, essentially, windscreen fixes everything on a vehicle right now.
