Screen going white after awhile

So after downloading combined operations and getting everything set up, I decide to try a misson to get situated with the controls. I start running around and I realize the screen is becoming very white. I thought it might have been a brightness issue but the slider did nothing. I also tried some of the other settings. I'm running it on Parallels XP from a mac.

Where did you download it from? The reason I ask is because Arma has a copy protection called "Fade" that renders the game unplayable after a while. If it's a legit copy it may be an issue more Mac specific because it's not a prob I've heard of before.
