FPS problem

Recommended Posts

So I just recently started playing DayZ again, I was always able to run the game perfectly. The game is pretty much unplayable now, the max FPS I get is around 12-13 (outside of cities, no zombies, players etc). I tried editing the Arma2OA CFG file, but that didn't help. Even when I lower the graphics setting, nothing helps. I'm lost, any help?

Set video memory..... object, texture and terraign detail ...... all to high

Set HDR to normal

Disable everything else (that is possible to disable).

You should get between 25 - 35 FPS in the forest at least.

When you set everything to low you are putting the load on your CPU..... set it on high and the video card takes the brunt. I would not suggest using very high with your video card.

Actually I did otherwise, turned on FXAA and post-processing to medium and boosted my FPS to around 35-40 on my laptop with i3 2.2 GHz and HD 6370M, try doing the same?
