bmxracer23 0 Posted April 28, 2013 Alright, I am a little slow right now, because I am to the extreme mad.I hopped on my other account to buy a new copy of Arma 2, and Arma 2: OA till I found out I still havea global ban, on a completely different Steam ID and a different CD key.And you know what? it's not even my fault that I got banned.I am still banned on a different Steam acount, and different steam ID... WHY! WHY!There goes me 50 bucks, for all copies.Anyone know how this happened?WHYYY? WHY? I am nearly to the point of going insane.

Rage VG 4033 Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) stop cheating.Stop posting useless junk. There's NO proof that he was Global banned for hacking, and even if he had, OP had already gotten what was coming to him, he doesn't want nor need crap like this.@OP, you need to completely uninstall the game, then reinstall it on the new account whilst Steam has administrator access. The reason for this is that Steam normally does not have the right to edit registries, meaning it can't write in a new CD-Key. So you're still running the game from your old CD-Key. Giving it admin rights means that it can now add in your new CD-Key.Take note that if you were banned due to your key being stolen, you must make 1000% (That's one thousand percent) sure that your computer is clean of such malicious files. We (The DayZ Team and/or Bohemia Interactive studios and its community) are not responsible for the safety and security of your computer and are not obliged to help you do so, nor are we capable of lifting Global bans. They are done by a 3rd party (BattlEye) that we have no control over. Edited April 28, 2013 by Rage VG
