Engraved trees

Wouldn't it be useful and fun if we could engrave symbols/letters in trees? Leaving a message behind for someone to read it. An memorial for your fallen comrades. Or you could engrave signs of your clan so people know they are in your territory. You could even make subtle marks for finding back your way to your tent or camp. I know with the diary system you will be able to leave notes, but those would be individual items. I think an engravement in a tree would be cool to stumble across.

I could not find this idea in the suggestion arrea, if it has already been suggested please send this to the graveyard

It has been touched on in another thread based on being able to paint/mark trees. I am a firm believer you would see many penis's around chernarus.

That being said I support engraving trees.
