Squad XML & Custom Skins

I have a question for anyone who would have any tips.

When people load into the server with a Squad XML, with a picture, the server crashes, hard. I've tried to fix it multiple times, but any fix doesn't stick.

Second, custom skins show for the client, but not for everyone else. Just a pale, un-textured skin is shown for others, and the same for when they have one.

Any general tips?
