Low FPS on minimal

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I am new DayZ player.

When i join game I have 3-5fps on minimal detals.

I use laptop Toshiba Satellite L300-1DN.

Processor: Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3400 @ 2.16 GHZ (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz

RAM: 2048MB

GPU: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family 829MB

System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

I hope that in DayZ can modify textures or something like World of Tanks, when i get 15fps with 5.

I play on m18x, simply because I have no space for PC, but it has been acting funny though, as Intel's turbo boost only works while on battery power, and I'm getting about 40/50 fps while on battery on med settings, dell doesn't know whats wrong either haha.

As above - your specs are way too low to play DayZ. You're running on a really old dual-core CPU and integrated graphics. You need a decent quad-core and a dedicated graphics card to play DayZ with stable FPS.

Woops, forgot to mention that you can affectively 'mod your textures' by using ARMA 2: Free in place of the paid version of ARMA 2. This might increase your performance a little.

Here are a couple of screenshots comparing the two...
