Best amount of people for a squad?

Just wondering what people's opinions are regarding the right amount of people to have in a squad/group?

I mean obviously if you roll in a group of over 10 then you are generally considered safer as bandits won't try to take you out.

We use between 3-5 people typically which is a nice combination of stealth and firepower.
