Spawn in Wilderness? Help.

I'm pretty sure other people are having this problem, but I was in the wilderness before and after updates 1.7.1.0, 1.7.1.1, and 1.7.1.2. I have spent time trying to get out but I'm not really sure how. Is there some way to reset me? My character name is Fajfar. Thanks.

no reset, suck it up and hit respawn.

i've lost some great stuff that way, but just shruged and killed myself.

Head east about 2k. you eventually hit the forest

If you're in the "woods" wilderness, run E/SE about 2000m.

If you're in the "plains and nothingness" wilderness, run SE about 24000m - it will take you 80 minutes.

If you have nothing to lose, just respawn.

My friend found a DMR and got all excited. On his next spawn in he spawned miles from anything, spent an hour trying to get out, ate and drank all his supplies and then ran over an invisible pond or lake and his DMR got lost in the water.

I giggled.
