afewgoodzombies 4 Posted April 24, 2013 (edited) Hello!Yet another announcement in the sea of announcements for new private hive servers. I go by the name, KorriGunZ. So now that we have been acquainted, I'll fill you in on the details.Server Name: A Few Good ZombiesIP & Port: 184.173.146.22:3119Slots: 50 PlayersHost: DayZ.stDifficulty: VeteranDay/Night: Yes, we have Day and Night. Again, no need to register to view posts.Scripts Running: Auto RefuelClear RoadsVehicle TowingVehicle LiftingSarges AICustomization:Custom BuildingsTin Can Trading PostCompetitions & Prizes:We do usually run competitions that yield prizes. Our server is just 1.5 months old. During the first month we ran a competition for the player with the highest number of hours played on the server in that month. Things went extremely well. Player davis ended up winning the competition, and bagged himself a Rocketfish Professional Gaming Mousepad! We wanted to add something fun to the mix and keep things alive. This upcoming competition has not been determined yet, but the award will be some greenbacks deposited to your Steam Wallet. We stand by our word sternly when we say we want to provide a quality gaming experience for all. So stop by, you will automatically be entered when our next competition starts. All of the details are posted on our forums. Here is a link announcing last months winner: http://afewgoodzombi...3c073f16f0d284fGeneral Information:Well, I guess it is the same back story as many others. Tired of admin abuse and all the b.s. that are associated with so many servers. Although, our goal varied a little. We wanted to provide a server that allowed for its community/users to customize it. So basically, what the players want the players get. This is a generalization though. As much as I don't like a democracy (anyone versed in the quotations of the forefathers of America realizes a democracy is one of the worst forms of organization) that is what it is. So the majority vote counts. So to be proper, it is what the majority of players want the majority gets. There are times we can cater to individual requests. As listed above, we have some of the same things others have, and some things different. We have one very unique feature, and that is the Tin Can Trading Post. This allows for players to use one of, if not the most, useless thing in the game, tin cans. Players collect tin cans (soda cans too) and use them as currency at the Tin Can Trading Post. You can purchase just about anything in the game using tin cans. Our forums (do not have to register to view posts) have a full list of information and price sheets available. Adds a new dynamic to the game. Nothing like watching bandits kill survivors for a car full of tin cans, or watching the AI drive off with your Ural filled with 200 of them (had that happen two days ago).We have the tow script running as mentioned, and the air lifting script. Also, Sarges AI is fully implemented and balanced. Always someone to shoot at or to be shot by, whatever you fancy. I consider our admins Grade-A quality. We only have three, myself (KorriGunZ), the co-owner AllOverthePlace and a very polite youngster named Jasper. That's it. Not over-admined. Anyone that plays there can tell you that we go way out of our way to make everyone happy and to provide a quality atmosphere to play in.So everything is finally setup to a point for me to announce. I hope this doesn't turn out to be yet another empty server listed on DayZCommander. Also, we have perks on donations. I really don't want to mention it, but ya, we have a donation link. It is fixed at $1 US. This also gives the donator the option of selecting a custom spawn loadout. While the forum post for the donations is a little to be desired (rushed and I was tired, will redo), everything is listed there. Just throwing it out there. We will in the coming dayz also be setting up a post regarding custom bases. Players will be able to construct custom bases in the Arma 3D Editor, and then we can merge your base with our server file. So it is permanent, and fixed. New little feature we will implement soon. Any questions, just ask. We can be contacted at: afewgoodzombies@gmail.comOh and I forgot to mention. Thanks a million to Nomadic Hayward (Urbanskaters) who runs the [uNIT487] server, for the multiple late nights where he helped me to implement many of these server features. Without his help, it never would have happened. *Cheers* buddy.Korri GunZJust another guy that has a server somewhere in the land of DayZ.
