Game unable to launch via steam with 'combined operations'

Hi all, thanks for taking the time to read this post

I recently bought Arma 2 + OA, installed the Day Z mod, and played for a bit. I installed everything as directed, went to launch Arma 2: OA via 'combined operations', it would then come up with the cmd, and with this error

However, when I play the game normally, everything works fine as it's supposed to. The @dayz symbol shows up on the top right corner, I can log into current 1.5.6 dayz servers, but there's just one problem... ZOMBIES DON'T APPEAR!!

If there is anyone who could possibly help please post below :D

EDIT: I didn't download this game from steam, but I did purchase it on steam, I then had a friend send me his game files to me. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I might have some game files missing or something. I'm not too sure

having the same problem but i downloading both of mine from steam i am not sure what the errors i am getting in my CMD because it flashes way to fast to read. tried couple times with screen shots to catch it with no luck. It would really be nice if we can figure this out so i can play the game. One difference i am having is i cant even get in to a server with this error happening

@DoomStorm484: I had the same issue and running STEAM with administrator rights fixed it for me.

@Hex: If you didn't download it from STEAM then something is corrupt. In STEAM , right-click Arma2 OA and select properties, and under local files click "Verify integrity of game cache..."

I just did an integrity check on my Steam files for Arma and guess what...BattleEye had to be reloaded... Interesting.

Unfortunately, it did NOT fix my problem. Still getting stuck at 'Receiving Data...'
