Different items on joining the server later on

I was in some city and freshy found a revolver and some amo for it some food and blood as well, adn a knife.

I logged out and after i few hours joined a server and i got a whole different set of items, not that im complaining i got a map a watch a compas some ammo and a few bandages and flares :D.

I just wanted to ask if anyone else had this happen to him and if its something i did to bugg it because it would be stupid if that kept happening. Cheers
