Hello guys what are you thinking about this server for DayZ:

Intel Core i5-750 (4 x 2,66 GHz)

8 GB DDR3-RAM

2 x 1.000 GB SATA II

RAID Level 1

100 Mbit

Windows 2012 Standard Edition x64

It'll work but the procs frequency might not be good enough to handle a large number of players.

See if you can get something higher than 2.66 GHz

Large number really depends on what mod you run and other factors like vehicle count etc

Arma really consumes a lot of CPU so the higher the frequency the better :)

Talk to your host and see what they advise, they might allow you to try a server for a week and upgrade if the spec isn't good enough.

Ok some facts:

500 + Vehicles / 100+ Choppers / 50-60 Players some extra buildings

This question is exact to guys running an own dedicated server.
