Tents Disappeared on Public hive.

My tents disappeared, Would they ever come back?

Was it a restart? or a raid? I pitched them myself and now they are gone

Someone give me advice please <3

They were NOT in water

They were NOT at the edge of the map.

They were NORMALLY placed in a NORMAL forest.

Total count of tents : 6.

Maybe the server was updated?

I have had this happen to me couple of times myself, always makes me so mad I won`t play DayZ for a while. Usually I blame admins, then I get around to thinking and figure it`s only scripters that does not understand the joy of playing fair.

I mean, this is probably not the thread to rage against scripters, but if a cheating scripter reads this:

Maybe you will understand that you make other people really upset. Upset enough to make the anger slip through in OT-posts. I sometime wonder what a scripter rather would have us normal players do? Would they like us to stop playing the game and go get a real job?

Back on topic, Rozzok: I figured not to plan longer than a session at a time in DayZ, as it seems to me that the slightest change in the server or all the other digital forces working against you in DayZ will just cause madness and tears.

Edit: And thus a new bandit is born, he came from good intentions and planning, but came out from it with despair and a quick gear-up

I'm still awaiting the day, DayZ turns me into a bandit, because it betrayed me for my gear once too often. As I see threads, there so many people request to make valuable gear way more rare, this may happen with the Stand Alone. This painful long gearing up and being striped in a few moments, really plays into bandits hands. They are the only once who would gain profit out of this.

"Hmm, he had all the work finding the stuff for you."

But you are right, don't planning for long, don't making a base, just saying goodby to your gear as soon as you found it, is the best way to be prepared for the upcoming loss.
