Hello Guys,

so i tried this mod some days ago with a friends steam account, and since i liked it i bought it too with my own steam acc.

My question is, do i have to install/download arma 2 on my PC again, or is there another way to get my own dayz account? i tried to log in, but i ended up in my friends character.

Dayz uses your CDKEY in someway to tie to a character account.

The CD keys were created by the steam installation process for his steam account.

You sign in to steam, it sees the game is installed so does not bother to insert your cdkeys.

Uninstall the game using steam, and reinstall. this should resolve your issue.
