Being denied by EVERY server. Help please.

I'm brand new to DayZ, so I'll probably sound like a buffoon for asking this. But I need help.

I downloaded Arma 2: Complete Collection and installed it all. It kept telling me my verification code that I would need to enter, but it hasn't yet asked me to do so. I then downloaded/installed DayZ mod and it appeared to be working fine. But whenever I highlight a server it changes from a green/amber light to a red cross. Also, the ones that allow me to join, then kick me back out and tell me I need to either remove certain files, or enter the verification code. I don't know where to enter these codes? Also after kicking me out it will also say that I have modified files?

I would appreciate any kind of help,

Did you launch arma 2 and operation arrowhead first before trying to play dayz?

Also you should just try dayz commander for installing the mod and searching for game's much easier.

you also need to make sure you are completely up to date with the beta patches and dayz builds...

Yeah that's why I would recommend dayz commander or sixlauncher (dayz commander is better though)

get DayzCommander and look in the install section if everything is up to date
