Problems/Lags while playing DayZ

Recommended Posts

Hi,

i have a problem. Wehn i play Dayz I've got lags permanently on any server.

I checked my internet lane, my hardware (gefroce 560, amd phenom quadcore 3,4 GHz, 4 GB RAM), i had loaded all datas again, updated the game over the DayZ Commander for the latest update, try to run it over six and changed my graphic settings.

But even on the lowest graphic settings, i've still got this heavy lags.

I would be deebly greatful for any kind of help. :)

Clean out your toaster, maybe it has too many crumbs inside.

Don't be a fucking dildo deejay.

You might just need a better CPU mate, since instead of graphically intensive the game is CPU intensive. So have a look into that! :)

Yes maybe, but the thing that's confuse me is that before i reinstalled my pc, it worked very well on normal settings with the same hardware.

And i don't think that i forget a driver to install that could any influence on DayZ.

I know it sounds weird, but on Arma II, lower graphic settings are harder on your computer than average settings. I don't know any off the top of my head, but there are plenty of graphic setting optimization guides all over. Just search on the forums and youtube and such.

But at the end of they day, the root of the problem lies in your CPU.

Go into your documents and the ARMA and ARMA OA 2 folders change these settings

GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;

GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1;

Make them both set to 1 instead of 1000 and 3

Its the config files you need to open it with notepad
