Vertical aiming "rubberband" effect after zombie hit me uncoscious.

Recommended Posts

Went something like this :

- Shoot AI chopper pilot with M107(private hive, AI have helis). Kills the bastard.

- Zombie runs next to me, hits, and loses conciousness.

- wake up, character starts moving backwards on its own, im losing blood fast and I start hitting the keys in rage to regain control.

- Manage stay put by holding W and I put whole clip of G17 to zombie and it goes down. Still bleeding fast and my rage is growing.

- After almost terminating my keyboard i somehow regain control and im able to bandage my wounds.

- Start looking the damn chopper.

- Take my M107 and zoom in.

- Wth?

- Ugly rubberband effect when moving gun vertically. No effect moving horizontally.

- Wasnt like this before the outrageous zed attack from the bushes.

- Spend 2 hours raging and trying to find solution to the matter on hands.

- No luck.

Link to the problem.

I have decreased headbobbing, aiming deadzone and mouse smoothing to zero without solve. Deleted my profile and no go. Only thing i havent done yet is to delete whole game and install it again.

Anyone?

Hello Moro,

nice way to put out your problem, therefore beans my friend! Sadly I have no solution to this yet, but will look into it...

The higher the smoothing the more of a delayed, laggy feel aiming will be - a bit like your aim is on a rubber band or is moving through thick syrup.

Turning it off completely will give your aim a sharp and accurate feel. Instead of your aim over-steering and keeping on going, your aim will stop at exactly the same time you do.

Test it in game, go into ironsights and swing your aim about. You'll notice the difference in high/low smoothing immediately!

Does this do anyhing?

Smoothing and deadzone both at zero and no effect. And it affects also horizontal movement. My problem is only with vertical. Horizontal works like ith should. Precise and sharp.
