(NOOB) Just got Dayz (retail version) and cant play have tried vereything but here

HI! I am completely new to this. i have got the game going up to the server browser, but everytime I try to join one it says I need 1.62 blah blah blah. I have all the lastest updates I am stuck and need some help please? I REALLY want to play this game.

I think it has something to do with Battleye. Go to the Download tab on the battleye website and it will show you instructions on what to do.

i have OA aram 2 OA and arma 2 so far have to wait a bit to get other addons.

You need to download the patch 1.62 from the Arma 2 website

dayz commander worked. Now the picture is crap. picture settings slash resolution whats everyones set ups?

Go to 'Video Options' in the menu and change the quality / resolution there, otherwise if it still doesn't run, ask on the 'Can I run it' thread, people there can tell you what you may need to upgrade.
