Losing my coyote pack and M16 M203 is what. I intended the attachments to be the other way around but I uploaded the wrong file at first.

And now it's saying I have the wrong version even though we didn't change the version.

I play around 2 hours and all I could get was a sniper, a makarov, some car parts, bandages etc etc.

AK variants are the most common military spawns. Check military tents, air control towers, hangars, and fire houses.

You will find a ton of AKs.

I just "suicided" my 9 day character with a coyote backpack, m9sd with 4 clips, G17 with flashlight for them evenings, M14 with 3 clips and AKM with 7 clips, just so I could test the whole gender switch and starting without a weapon.

Dont get attached to stuff! Test the game instead

I have basically lost my M249 thanks to a bug after suiciding to test gender in 1.7.1.1. Coyote backpacks are pretty hard to come by, I've only ever found 3.

to be fair, the most fun part of this game is dying and starting over...

or was when you started this first person shooter with a gun... you know... to shoot with.

still, like others said, don't get attached, scavenging is a big part of the game, the joy of which is stifled severely when you have everything you need.
