DayZ Progression Rate

Recommended Posts

Personally it seems like DayZ is progressing quite slowly to be honest. And with ARMA III being released late this year, I'm starting to think that the fully-released DayZ might not have much time in the spotlight.

Discuss?

Of all projects I know DayZ progressing is way faster then any of them.

Obvious troll is obvious. :)

Mr Maccoy, I believe this as I'm quite sure (probably wrong to be honest) as the DayZ dev. team stated that once ArmA III has been released, they will begin on creating the 'new' DayZ (on the new game).

If this happens, ArmA II DayZ will probably die, won't it?

Rocket is a member of Bohemia interactive, and once BI noticed the success of DayZ, they would like to include it with arma 3 on release. While that may be a pipe dream, I think its fair to say that transferring DayZ and most of its content to Arma 3 shouldn't be too hard when rocket is able to watch Arma 3 as it's being put together.

He already said it works in ARMA III. It's done. It's ported. When ARMA III comes out, buy it. DayZ will be there. It will be the same DayZ so nothing will be dieing.

DayZ may be stand-alone one day, but Alpha-Beta-Release can take many months so be patient, eh? You've already demonstrated a disturbing lack of it, try to recover now and redeem yourself.

Screw you man, now I'm drooling.

I just hope ArmA III will get proper optimization this time around so I don't have to rob NASA again.

Updates every week.. multiple hotfixes a week.. for a mod and a free one it's moving along pretty fast.
