Could Players Use Random Items To Use As Weopons?

E.g broom stick, chair, racket ect...

I thought it would be handy incase you're trapped inside a building, with no gun and no melee weopon, to be able to grab a chair or something to push the zombies back maybe? Would be quite awesome don't ya think?

Cons:

-Might be difficult to make the animations/code

-Could be very glitchy and awkward to use

Pros:

-Awesome "Last resort" kinda weopons

-More variety to the game

-Adds more realistic situations

-And last reason, WHY THE F*** NOT?! :D

One thing I would love to see would be taking an empty (plastic water bottle) and having a temporary silencer for a bit (after a few shots it no longer works and wouldn't surpress a smuch as a real one). I thiink that would be cool as for random items, I would like to see a shaver be allowed to be used as a knife (the edge part of course) or a bottle used as melee I can see as well.

I don't even think that's possible even if its standalone.

Seems like a lot of effort and would it really be worth it.
