Dayz, shoes, gear and life

Recommended Posts

I consider myself a pretty level headed guy, not prone to losing my temper.

In fact I work really hard at keeping my cool and not "sweating the small stuff".

Yesterday after nearly 25 days I was killed by what I will essentially call "friendly fire". The guy was in our ts and I cut loose on him with a verbal tirade of almost epic proportions.

My daughter lost a shoe yesterday and this morning my wife cut loose on me with a verbal tirade of nearly epic proportions over the issue.

I could take the above situations and switch myself and my wife out for pretty much any person in life and in dayz.

We all get geared up and feel pretty good about our incarnations, trying hard to keep them going (even knowing that they will end). We also are all faced with small stuff in life that just seems to set us "off".

Yes there are problems and sometimes things just don't work out right (the latest patches for example). We just need to keep our perspective on that and focus on the enjoyment of the experience, knowing that things will get better (and we can always buy more shoes).

Guess I just am reminded that this mod, like life is pretty sweet overall and sometimes we just need a little perspective realignment.

I know I will be looking out for that guy to apologize to him, then get back to trying to eek out a bit more time in my current incarnation...and making a trip to the shoe store today.

Thanks Dev team for your efforts keep at it!

I think you just need anger management.
