I have no idea what factors might have triggered this.

I started playing this morning on a freshly spawned character. Started out with just the flashlight. painkillers, and a bandage. Disconnects were a problem. After one of my server switches from disconnects, I suddenly have a makarov in my hand. So I look in my inventory and I have a whole bunch of very useful things: knife, blood bag, watch, map, compass, makarov and 3 clips, soda, morphine.

I logged in with these exact things, lost everything I previously had, though i kept everything in my backpack.
