DayZ - UK410 - Public Hive Issue.

hi all, i didnt want to post this and hoped it may fix itself, but the server connects to the hive for around 40mns every so often, hasnt in days now and then fills up the log:

Could anyone point me in the right direction for a fix please?

I have:

Downloaded the mission again -- Using slientspy.

Deleted BE folder.

Updated the server with Commander.

Restarted the box,

RE-installed Arma using steam.

I might be way of here, but have you tried the clean pbo file trick which sorts iffy vehicles and other streamed crap out? Might do the trick in getting your server to reconnect again.. You could also try and pm Razor49 here on the forum, he might now whats up.

Aye up mate :D All good here, your end too I hope! Lot less cheaters nowadays for some reason.. Tweaked our be filters a bit and quick on the banhammer if something does occur :)

Anyways.. here's the link for the clean .pbo file : http://wikisend.com/download/406058/dayz_server.pbo (thanks again TG Jimmy :))

Basicly make a backup of your current file and remove it from the folder where it normally is. Put this clean 1 in, restart your server, let it run for a minute or 5 (like Jimmy stated, go drink a beer :D). Then shut it down again and put your own .pbo file back.. Hopefully it does the trick. If not, I think mr. Razor is your last resort...

Btw. I did read somewhere that there's different sql server ips, but I dont have them and Im also not sure if we have a different 1 where you can edit the config files to redirect it to that specific server :(

So looking back at the logs, our Server - UK410 connects to the Hive more or less everyday at approx 1500hrs for 20mins to 3hrs then drops.

Is anyone able to supply me another IP for something that could help me communicate to the HIVE 24/7?

When the server's connection stops it seems to be this line:

Bump. Can this be looked into, like, pretty please? That server has a steady bunch of regular players that refuse playing private hives for the sake of keeping things how they should be (but seeing as everything falls, I'll get myself into the private hive of same clan)

Are you the hoster of the server ?

If no, have you any issue with you internet connection ?

Can you ping the hive ip and dns during like 1 hour without any loss ?

I am the host yes, i have my own server colo in a data center.

The internet connection at the datacenter is 100%, im hosting a few other games on there.

When you say the hive IP, shall i use the IP in my logs - 184.95.33.66 is that the same as yours?

I will kick off a ping -t now, thanks to all who are helping, im a genuine gamer and a ruddy nice chap, im glad you guys are also.

The Hive kicks into life around 1500hrs daily, then it appears this line knocks it off course for the next 12hrs.
